ahilya was created in 2008 by Manuela Moollan from her desire to interweave the creative energy of London with the abundant textile heritage of Kashmir. Goats from nomadic herds in Ladakh yield fibres which are hand combed, spun and woven by ancient tradition. Working closely with design talent trained at Central St Martin's and various London based collaborations, Manuela's is a uniquely individiual spin on an unapologetically luxurious aesthetic.
