PRPS Noir "It’s Not For Everybody"
PRPS continues with Donwan Harrell’s pursuit for denim perfection with the more experimental range "Noir“ collection for Spring/Summer 2012.
PRPS Noir features a luxurious collection of Japanese selvedge denim washed with varying degrees of black dye that are tested each season, the collection has become Donwan’s denim laboratory.
This technique is used to create a darker, more contemporary aesthetic for true denim enthusiasts and is available in five shades from over-dyed pure black tot he faintest hint oft he shade worked into a vintage blue selvedge jeans.
Noir also features exclusive leather back patches with Japanese Hinomaru flags stitched into the hem. Stitched rivets replace the traditional hardware, a feature used on wartime prison work-wear to shorten the intensive labour process and preserve metal, further enhancing PRPS’s commitments to authentic detailing on all its products.
