Autumn/Winter 2010 Inspirations

The creation of the AW2010 collection began with a white page and the vision of an aristocratic, free and travelling woman. The collection borrows aspects from various fashion trends and styles seen throughout Europe and Asia during the 20th century. Inspired by the “Années Folles”, the cocktail dresses are all delicately embroidered highlighting the skilled craftsmanship and dedication to detail that were necessary for their realisation.

Enhanced by paddings or by graphic patterns, they suggest the never ending disco nights of the 80’s. The romantic and fluid day dresses beautifully show off the traditional and colourful prints. The fabrics are amazing: wrap-dresses in silk jersey and burned-out velvet, blouses in printed silk-satin, chiffon and georgette, cashmere jumpers and mini dresses. Corduroy wide pants, alpaca capes and vests, Mongolian lamb or fox coats and jackets…

The collection is created with an innovative perspective on garment draping, the utmost attention to finishing touches, and with constant care for the structure.
